Barry MacCormack
Business Development Manager, Filtafry Ireland
In 2018, Barry joined Filta as joint Master Franchisor for Ireland. He runs a company owned operation in South East Ireland and North Cork city, servicing one of the largest companies in the world. Barry wants to meet ambitious business people with a background in hospitality to grow franchise opportunities in Dublin, Cork, Galway, Limerick, Waterford as well as regional franchises available to suit all pockets and ambition.
Barry will train, support and help start ups get their first clients. Previously Barry has worked for part of his 30 year work experience in the food and beverages industry, including The Olive Garden franchise in Atlanta, Georgia, and the Wendy's franchise restaurant in Frankfurt, Germany.
He was also a management leader of a start up operation with Mathis Dairies in Orlando, Florida, where growth rates went from zero to hundreds of clients within three years.
Barry has degrees in Business, Marketing and Law and was Principal solicitor of a law practice for nine years before another firm took it over.
Barry is sports mad, loves going to Croke Park, is married with 3 girls aged 8 to 16, has a labrador puppy and his favourite colour is red!

Dav O'Shea
Managing Director of Filtafry Ireland
In 2018, Dav joined Filta as co-owner of the Master Franchise for Ireland. She is in charge of administration, strategic thinking and planning, defining competitive positioning and customer segmentation and developing communication and pricing strategy. Represents the business in media and at industry conferences and events. Launched targeted PPC campaigns on Google ads, Facebook ads and Instagram ads. Leveraged email marketing platforms to drive automation and social media integration.
Dav loves interior design and gardening and in her spare time is busy as chairperson of John Lockes Camogie club in Callan, County Kilkenny.
She is married with 3 girls and has a labrador puppy called Mansey after the girls favourite Gaelic footballer Conor McManus from Monaghan. Her nickname is sat nav
as she has an uncanny sense of direction!
